Beautiful wildflowers although the ocotillo really caught my attention. Caroline hiked in her PJ's and green jelly shoes. We had lunch at Lost Dog Overlook - no shade but we found a few rocks to sit on. The Lost Dog Wash trailhead was overflowing with cars. It's nice to be able to park at 128th Street - the maps all say limited parking, but really there's room for a couple dozen cars. No water or bathrooms at 128th parking though.
