| no partners | | | Started at First Water Rd staging area and took trail to second water then turned off at black mesa marker following that trail until it looped around back to the start. A great hike with beautiful vegetation and a trail that is well marked on most areas with only a couple of iffy ones. The trail ranges from narrow hard rock on cliffs to dense vegetation in deeper canyons and dry stream beds. Truly a lovely hike at a great time of year. A little long for me at 9miles and didn't like no cell service but my iphone app motionX saved the day and posting gps with that. Highly recommended day hike near Mesa or AJ. |
