| no partners | | Did this hike with the East Bay Casual Hiking Group. Good crew. Trail Gail from EBRPD kept us in line. She gave us chocolate-covered cranberries (good) and roasted California bay tree nuts ("acquired taste"). Great to get a hike in before the latest storm arrived. I feel bad for Andrew going back with that small group after only 3 miles. They never should have tried this hike. Fairly easy 13 mile hike. Thorn to the lady who asked me to pick her up at the Orinda BART station, and then didn't show. I called her after waiting for 10 minutes: "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not going today." Thanks....
The wildflowers are already starting to come up. This should be an epic year for wildflowers. |
