| no partners | | I noticed that I was #81 on the 2011 mileage list. No bueno. I'll submit a full description when the development I'm able. Today was very warm for this time of year, and the sky was brilliant. However, there was a lot of haze so long-distance photography was worthless. Typical California oak savannah, and the open areas are basically rodent civilizations. I think they're California ground squirrels, and most fields in this area feature thousands of burrows. Consequently, this area has a lot of coyotes and raptors including red tail hawks, northern harriers. Lots of vultures as well. This area should feature a jaw-dropping spring wildflower display because of the incredible amount of rain we had in the early winter. |
