| no partners | | The day started out with a 30% chance of rain and, indeed, we got dumped on a couple times on the way to the TH parking lot. By the time we got parked and ready to head out, however, the weather had started to clear so it was just cold with intermittent breezes... Had to deal with snow when we hit the 5000 foot level but it wasn't too bad, til it turned to slush later in the day. Made for a wet, muddy slog on the downhill portion of the hike. All in all, the day was very pleasant, the hike enjoyable.
Since no one but the HAZ hikebot has done a write-up on this trail, I'll work on putting something together as time permits and post along with pics and route info... |
