| no partners | | | Started with the same area as our previous trip, but I just hung out while the others climbed. Moved up canyon after a while, and had to wade through water where we'd made a fire back in November.. wow. There's a nice sandstone wall just around the next bend, so we stopped there and reviewed how to clean the anchors on a couple low-bolted rings. Ended up hopping on a couple fun unnamed routes on that wall. Wouldn't mind going back again, but skipping the first section. I don't trust the rock/bolts there. The place is good for a day trip or for a couple hours, but I couldn't spend a weekend there. Good thing there are so many other fun things to do in/around Sedona! |
