We took a break at the top for a while, checking out the views. The nearby peaks and ridges were beautiful, and we were even able to see the Supes and Four Peaks despite the haze. Heading down Pima Canyon was tough on the knees and feet, but the views were incredible. There's still a bit of ice higher up, so anyone going out this time of year should take note. It's not always obvious; if a rock looks wet, check first to make sure it's only water and not ice.
Great hike, and good company. We finished up at Putney's for some post-hike sustenance, and then I headed to Cindy's for a much-needed 11 hour nap. Thank you, Cindy! |
