| | | Pocket Puzzle |

| | 5.6 | Sport | G | | | | | Since I couldn't join the guys on the awesome-sounding Supes freezemarch, I figured it would be fun to go with some others to QC. Woke up with a numb shin (it's always something) but decided to see how the day would treat me since the hammie was no longer painful; just slightly stiff. Pulled off a 5.6 with ease, then got my lead belay in for good practice. Decided to try to pull myself up Pocket Puzzle next. It was extremely frustrating to find that all the strength in my arms was gone. Couldn't figure out why, either, until halfway up I remembered using my arms to get up 5024 two days prior. (I am gonna have such awesome triceps when this is all over.) Eventually got up it. Next time will be better! Resorted to belaying and taking pictures after that.
We skipped Mexican food in Superior and went straight to Serrano's in Tempe, where mucho chips and salsa (and bean dip!) were devoured. Excellent end to a fun day! |
