Foliage is moderate with brilliant reds of some maples contrasting beautifully with the other greens or blue-blue skys. A lot of subdued reds, peaches and pinks (being from New England, I am a foliage snob!) Went past Submarine / Narrows - water surprisingly cold, make that frigid! After feet numbed, became tolerable to continue up for 30 minutes! Ended trip with a perfect delicious little apple no one else saw / could get from the orchard. My guess is that colors (reds...) should peak within a week... Pics now posted... |
