| no partners | | | Left the Peralta Trailhead around 11 am on New Year's Eve in the company of three wonderful companions. Arrived just after sun-down to set up our Happy New Year banner, don party hats, crank up some tunes, and down some whiskey. Dined, danced, counted shooting stars, and waited for the ball to drop. Toasted champagne at midnight, shared New Year's Resolutions, and welcomed the new year. Dozed under open stars, and awoke to greet the dawn. Shared a breakfast beer (to start the new year off right), downclimbed and descended four quick rappels, and hiked out. Happy 2012! |
