Saw two groups of backpackers on the way towards 3574, my destination. One group in Whitlow Canyon by the corral and the other at Reeds Water, the spot I left the trail to go cross country. The bushwhack towards 3574 isn't all that bad. I tried to climb to the top of the formation, but couldn't make it up the last 20 ft or so. On the way back I decided to check out the mine to the NW. The mine has caved in. There are some artifacts laying about including a fridge that doesn't look very old. Maybe 50 years or so. Quite a few wild flowers blooming. Interesting hike. Nice day.
