So, I headed out about 2 p.m. to take a look at some possible alternate routes up Hill 1833. I've thought about going up there, but like to stick to paths if available, and did not realize until recently there are actually several pathed routes. (They are faint because most people strictly stick to Trail 100.) I also wanted to get a look at the other abandoned vehicle in the Car Wash (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1KSNg-REvM ... come on: You know you thought it too. ). When I left it was 97.5 degrees -- break out the parkas! -- and when I returned 50 minutes later it was 99. So, the other vehicle is an old wood bed pick up of some indeterminate sort. I looked for a VIN, but it was upside down, and I did not want to crawl underneath. Car detectives check out the photos, and let me know if you can figure out make, model and year. |
