| no partners | | | Was karting in Charlotte last weekend, where on Friday and Saturday it was low 50s, with winds 12-20 mph. Miserable cold. Despite being cloudy, I somehow got sun burnt. Was planning on hiking Lake Norman State Park, NC, on Sunday, but an all-day downpour was added to the awful weather, so we stayed inside. Started coughing on the plane ride home on Monday, and by Tuesday was seriously sick. All week, I could feel myself getting fatter by the second. Finally, today, felt well enough to get out and do some exercise. (Yeah, drugs!) Despite being over my "backyard" -- the 7th St / Cave Creek / Thunderbird triangle -- more times than I can count, actually found two new trails today. Lots of bunnies out. |
