| no partners | | | Wow what a trek. First part of the hike to about .5 mile before the saddle was perfect clear skies and great hiking. Once I was about .5 mile before the saddle I got hit with rain, hail and large crowds of people turning back down the mountain. The higher I got the more hail and snow I encountered. Once I got to the saddle I saw a small opening, and Tim a fellow I met just before the saddle decided to charge to the top in hopes to make it to the peak with the quick window we had. Hands were numb and I was underdressed at the top but the 28 digress and 10 mph wind was a great refresher from the 105 degrees in the Valley. |
