| no partners | | | Great hike if you are in the area. The trail does a nice job of using switch backs so the trail is not overly steep, and a good rest stop at the saddle about midway through. The views are fantastic. Wish I could of stayed at the top longer but the flies were a real nuisance.I was hiking in the area for 5 days prior to doing this hike so the altitude didn't seam to be an issue. I have come up from Tucson to hike and even at 7000 feet I notice the difference in altitude, usually takes a day or two to get use to it. Of coarse no one takes a day off for acclimating you just get to the task of hiking, but that first day seems to be the hardest. |
