Backpacked in on Saturday morning 11-12, met a friend who had packed in the day before. We dayhiked a mile and a half or so upstream, saw cottonwood trees changing color, lots of saguaros, and a garter snake hanging out on a rock. Cooked quesadillas for dinner on a hot rock in a campfire. Camped at the upstream end of the Jug overnight.
I swam a little the next day (it was cold, but I had to do it). Packed out Sunday afternoon.
