| partners | | | Pretty nice canyon and I enjoyed it, but it didn't feel that hard. Had to take in Hershberger to round things out. The approach to that wasn't bad at all from the west, and the summit was fine, but the views are not 360 degrees. You get most of them, though. I would probably only do Hershberger from the canyon, or this side, and not the A trail, and I feel that once or twice a year is fine for Hershberger. Ortega is easier and has better views. Blanca was nice looking and has some snow on it. Coming down it got cold in the shadows. I want summer! |
