Two down, two to go (McDowell peaks that is). The distance and AEG reflect the totals for the hike from the new Tom's Thumb Trailhead to the crack, including some minor wandering around during the final leg (off trail) to the summit. There are some cairns on the final leg, but the last 400 feet [after a relatively flat segment and beginning at (33.680429, -111.800837)] does go up into the brush straight ahead and doesn't follow a pseudo-trail that goes off to the right.
