A nice easy hike thats close to town, but lacks the crowds of most other hikes in town. Saw an Black Headed Grosbeak I guess they only live here in the summer. Also saw the biggest horny toad I've ever seen. It was the size of a big-mac no picture though. We did manage to find Sandies seep, but I guess due to the dry winter there was no water seeping just a bunch of very lush green tree's growing out of the sand. Lots of small lizards that I can't identify, and the normal collection of Stellar Jay's and Clarks nutcrackers.
