| no partners | | Finally able to hike, and it was lousy outside, but I made the best of it and went anyway. I tried to remind myself of some of the Humphrey Summits I would make in fogs, but that is way different. It was a very different hike, and everything is both super wet, lush and green. A total reversal from just 3 months ago. Clouds rolled over me on the way up, but I had some views on the summit. Light rain on the way down, and I actually saw another person, for the first time in maybe 4 or months, above the A. He was going off trail, but I don't know where. Down at my car, I could still see the mountain shrouded in clouds, and across the basin it was no different by the Organ Mountains. Ironically, the wildflowers are the best I have seen, on this trail. |
