Due to the lack of recent rail the falls wasn't too exciting, but it was still worth the hike. Encountered Deer, lizards, and countless grasshoppers that made the trail a little more interesting.
When I got to the Three Tanks, I found a bag of pelletts attached to the side of the tank. Curisoity got the best of me, and I threw a couple pieces into the tank. Found out to my surprise, that the tank is actually filled with a pretty decent population of fish (look like goldfish or small koi). Rather interesting considering how far up the trail the tanks are, I guess someone times the time to bring fish food up there on a regular basis. |
