| no partners | | Low energy had me shift my plans... ended up drifting up the "A"... picnic lunch... then, walked around checking out the private property boundaries that conflict with the accesses up and into the lower portions of the "A" Canyons... and the ridges on their sides.
Fence boundaries may be Forest Service... they are not posted.
I was able to hike up and in, going through one gate (no lock...no Keep Out signs)... the ridges suggest a good hike; I'll need to go back and check them out. "A" Canyon North may be more than I'd supposed. I think we can open up a route from the "A" trail, across the "A" Cut... to Terri's Cut and down below the big Waterfall. That route would allow for access around and into "A" North... with just the Forest Boundary fence to address once up in the canyon.
Nice exploratory hikes to go do... |
