This was a total "I don't know, what do you want to do?" last minute hike, we didn't even get to the trailhead until 2:30, so we didn't have time to go very far. As you get higher into the mountains, the fire become more and more evident. There are a few spots with a lot of fallen leaves, so I'm sure it's still very pretty in the fall and well worth another visit to venture further than we had time for today. I don't know if the little creek was from Mormon Springs, but it was flowing all the way next to us which made for a nice afternoon.
