| no partners | | One of those days wanted to go someplace new but not too hard or far away. Decided to see how far I could get into these hills, surprised quite a ways before the locked gate and then on foot. Late start so didn't fully explore the rock garden. Really like roaming around on granite. I shot some photos with an old Sony DSC-R1 I got for a steal on Craigs' list. A big sensor for it's time and the excellent Carl Zeiss lens it shows that it still can take great pics. It's a beast but I think I will use it some. Of course took my wide angle with the Oly too.
Pretty area and I think would be killer when it rains with lots of rock pool potential and maybe wildflowers too.
Will be back with an early start. |
