| no partners | | Revisiting an area with Brian and Charlie to do a little more exploring. We successfully ran out an adit I was too chicken to do around 15 years ago, to nothing extraordinary. This is a pretty and popular area with jeepers due to the roughness of the road and good access from I-10. I found the road a tad tamer than I remembered. Mining ruins and great weather made this a great trip. Little Pony was a hike, and I had not been there. Found some shot up petroglyphs, proving idiocy certainly can be out in a desolate area when you put humans there. Nice rock, and one short tunnel and some shafts of interest.
On to a rematch ( for me) of the historic Bradshaw trail, with side trips, hiking, rockhounding and more-- |
