| no partners | | One last trip before writing a Description for Pyramid Peak.
Started with Ludden at dawn to get the best photo vantage point, then drove over to Deem Hills Park from which I proceeded on bike to Pyramid. Went up via the southern saddle, did my first scramble up the south face, placed a register and dug around fruitlessly for the 2269' VABM. If someone wants to bring up a metal detector, be my guest.
Descended the south slope, hearing no hive this time (  ), and hopped on the bike for the sweet ride back. Gentle downhill over hard packed sand whoop-de-dos.  |
