| partners | | | We nearly decided to drive home on Monday without doing a canyon, then a friend from Flagstaff showed up in camp and we had to commit. Our friend had been sick and we had just done a long day in Voodoo somBabe's Hole seemed like a great plan - and it was! Joel and I had done this canyon the year before so we knew it was straight forward, however I forgot how fun this short gem can be! We took some time showing our friend some of our techniques: releasable rigging and lowering in case rope fed out is not enough or someone runs into problems, and bag stuffing. I was surprised by the difficulty of the downclimbs and also surprised that I didn't need help in some of the spots! Nice, easy day! |
