First trip on this trail. The first 3-4 miles, up to the wilderness sign, are in great shape. Just past the wilderness sign the trail is eroded away and you need to drop into the creek bed. From there you need to watch for cairns to stay on trail which does make for slower going. We knew we wouldn't have enough time to finish the entire trail but had hoped to make it to the Gown camp area, a goal we didn't make due to the allotted time we both had. Reason to go back :)

Lots of running water in the creek made this a very nice hike.
