Warm on the uphills, cold wind along the ridgeline.
The use trail is becoming more defined than ever, but I elected to select my own way down following an intermittent bighorn trail. Didn't see any bighorns, but lots of evidence of them once I started down.
Without trying I popped out right at Mountain Springs, a large complex. Ran across some old audits and also agave roasting pits near the springs.

Also came across a type of benchmark(?) I had never seen before - a County GPS Control Point. There sure are a lot of metal discs out there. :)
