This is a beautiful short trail that offers escape from the heat in the summer. It goes through pine forests and lush meadows and leads you down to the Black River. If you want to relax and enjoy, you can make it an overnighter and camp right by the Black River on the meadow at the bottom, which is what I did. Hearing large animals galloping in the river at night was a treat :)
