It had been a few years since I had been up to these cool ruins, and I wanted to check out the dramatic east side and find a more interesting way up. Found a decent gulley up, and after hanging at the ruins for a while, tried another route down to the northeast that cliffed out. Trudged back up to the ruins and headed back down the ridge route, which is fairly easy but more scenic than the direct approach.
Talked to two groups of Javalina hunters, and no one has a name for this peak, so "Ruins Peak" seems reasonable.
