| partners | | Fan and Mike haven't been to the Black Canyon lake area so I took them on a loop out there.
We started at the Black Canyon campground / General Crook TH and went down the Hangman trail.
From there we went to Black Canyon lake/Rocky Bluff trail to the abandoned jeep roads to FR86. From FR86, I showed fan & Mike the ruins and the Petroglyphs.
We returned via FR86 to 4x4 roads to the rim road.
The morning was a bit chilly for Mike & I , but perfect for Fan. The day never got too warm. For once it didn't rain. I think Mike keeps the rain away.
Wildlife seen:
- 3 tarlaunulas
- about 20 deer
- 2 wild horses
- 1 gopher snake |
