Richard is a retired podiatrist who has amazing passion for photography. Rose is an interior designer, photographer and is very fun. I met Richard professionally a couple of years ago and glad to learn from him. Attendees have very varied background from amateurs to professional photographers.
Session starts on Thursday evening where Richard talks about principles of photography for a couple of hours. Hands on workshop starts before sunrise and about 4 morning hours are spent shooting. Richard comes around and gives tips and everyone learns individually. There is a break of few hours in the middle of the day. Evening session starts at 3pm at a different location in the preserve and around 4 hours are spent shooting. Day was tiring but learned a lot.
My instinct is to shoot in Auto mode which I need to resist as manual photos look much better. I realized that I need to get to KNOW my camera! I have to practice
I also learned that iPhone photography is another trend on rise Got some tips from Rose and placed an order to get some goodies to add to my iPhone. Can't wait to test them out soon
Overall a great experience. Thanq MSP for putting it together
