| partners | | This is a nice scenic drive. The variety of cacti and other plants is quite substantial. We did this ride as another ride and hike trip. John was a good sport about getting up early and I picked him up around 4am. We parked at the visitor center and were riding by 7am. It's funny how it seems so much flatter in a car. Going up some of the little hills was slow going for me. The Arch Canyon hike was about half way into our ride and I was ready for a break. We ate a snack and hiked for a couple hours then were ready to finish ride. The rides are always better when the second half is most of the downhill and the wind is at our back. Although a little bumpy from time to time the ride went pretty well. The flowers were minimal. I enjoyed this ride. Good times. Thanks john! |
