| no partners | | | Hurt my back last weekend and have been painfully recovering all week. Felt pretty good this morning and made an impromptu drive over to Calderwood. The copious slathering of IcyHot was working overtime and so were my sweat glands on this hot and humid late start (6:52). Missed the sunrise, I doubt I missed much since there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Took the southwest route down to the high point, not too exciting. Nice views from atop the cliff. Turned around and finished of the hike with a trip around the top of the butte. Saw two other fellows on the main trail this morning. Good to get out. Better to have my back feeling better. |
