Cold start to a really nice day. The first time we did this loop we hiked it in a clockwise direction so this time we hiked it counter clockwise. We also tacked on a few extra miles by hiking out Cave Creek trail to the junction of Matty's Fork to complete that trail. Saw two different sets of backpackers CC #4 otherwise we had the trails to ourselves.

The road to the trail head had just been recently graded and was in the best shape I have seen it.
