Great loop hike. We hiked in a counterclockwise direction going up Pumpkin and down Bull Basin. The final push up Pumpkin was a kicker but the tower shows up quicker than expected. Ryan wore new trail shoes so was fighting a slight heel rub on the way up since the heels are locked back most of the time. Had lunch on the top and took in the views. Headed down Kendrick to the Bull Basin junction and then headed down. I really enjoyed the Bull Basin trail, not has dressed as the Pumpkin which I prefer. I suspect this will be a yearly loop hike for us. Next time we will go up Bull Basin.
