| no partners | | Well I finally cracked an achievement on this Mountain!! I've been wanting to visit this site for years, and failed once in December due to weather.
Diane and I had a nice hike up the trail and left at the 7th switchback. I would never have found this site without the GPS coordinates, they were so spot on that my GPS beeped and told me I was there immediately upon seeing the first piece of wreckage.
It's a somber reminder of the perils of flying. I presume the fuselage was removed as I saw no sign of it, just wings and controls surfaces and some other major parts.
Got rained on coming down but we were lucky whilst we were in the crash field as the weather held off until we got back in the trees.
