| no partners | | We arrived well after dark, which made finding the arch extremely difficult even with headlamps. Fortunately, the formation is very close to the road. We found it after hiking in the general direction it should have been. I did bring my puppy, but would not suggest a dog as the terrain is difficult to navigate. There is no trail and the land is choked with cacti and shrubbery. It could be done, I just wouldn't advise it.
There are very few places for a tent, but we found a small flat area just north of the arch between a meter-tall rock and a palo verde.
