JohnLP and I headed down to grab some Dairy Queen and decided to hit Picacho Peak while in the area. We took the Sunset Vista Trail which was probably a blessing in disguise. We estimate we passed over a hundred and twenty people on the trails today. It would have been even more if we did the Hunter Trail. In fairness over 60 of them were from a large U of A Fraternity group. On top of that we passed two boy scout groups and countless others. It was amazing.

Just as we approached the summit a small plane buzzed the top. He couldn't have been more than 50 feet from the top. One of the Frat Boys had a video of the flyby that he shared with us as we were descending.

Nothing of note in the spring flower department besides the creosote in bloom.
