Nice afternoon hike. Spring flowers are starting to show their little yellow faces already. The heaviest concentration is on the north east side of the mountain. The first half mile or so on the Sunset trail has some nice spots and then pretty much nothing the rest of the way to the top.

One of my favorite things when doing Picacho is when the Military Jets fly by on their training missions. Happened three times today! Absolutely awesome!
