I started the hike at 8 o'clock Saturday morning of Labor day weekend. Incredibly I saw no one for the six hours I explored the trails and accompanying creek. Wild flowers were abundant and the monsoon storms the night before made for high flow waterfalls. Truly a beautiful hike and wonderful escape from the valley heat.
