Since I was in the general vicinity (being a bit of a trek from Phoenix), and as it was still morning after savoring Escudilla, decided to check this trail out. Beautiful aspens greet you at the trailhead, but you soon enter the creekside world, which offers little evidence to the seasons above. The stream crossings were much less for for me than for Marley- my feet were starting to get that tired, clumsy gait after a couple days of rocky trails. The falls were sweet and peaceful.
