| no partners | | I'm glad to have finally made it out to Pinnacles National Park. The park was definitely busier than I expected, and I had to take a shuttle bus to the trail head in Bear Gulch. It was also warmer than I expected, but it wasn't too bad. There was a guy on the High Peaks Trail who was tracking condors, and allegedly one of the large birds I saw was indeed a condor.
The trail up from Bear Gulch goes through a series of caves along a stream, but there were far too many people for it to be enjoyable that day.
I'm not sure I'll go back to Pinnacles, but I'm glad it's checked off on my list. |
