| partners | | Our first hike in The Maze of Canyonlands didn't go according to plan. We hoped to drop into the canyon and take the cutoff over to The Plug Trail but all it took was one look at the narrow down-and-outward-angled ledge we would have to traverse as just the first of many obstacles and that was enough for me. So we settled for wandering much the same as we had done around our previous campsite.
