| partners | | Another fun trip down Wilbur! We were supposed to camp near Bear/Sundance and do canyons near the headwaters of WCC but the Pivot Rock fire caused us to spontaneously change our plans.
We drove the extremely bumpy road to find a camp. Then headed out on the canyon.
Mike got to practice some of the rigging I taught him the week before.
My 5 mm wetsuit seemed like overkill at first but I was grateful for it when swimming through a pothole.
West Clear Creek was as beautiful as usual! Love the sneak route!!! It means you can do it in the afternoon!
Overnite the smoke settled in for a bit and scared me. But by morning the wind changed and it cleared out. |
