I had previously noticed - on the northerly descent from the peak - a trail heading down the east side of the Peak. Today I had the time and curiosity. My curiosity is satisfied & I won't do this route again. It is a well-defined trail so I did not feel that I was trailblazing. It proceeds down the east face and keeps heading east. I came out in a residential area at a cul-de-sac by a fire hydrant at White & Waterman (about 44th Street south of Doubletree). I worked my way through the residential area, back to Tatum north to the Tatum TH and back to the 40th Street TH. This must be a route used by a people in the residential area. |
