Couldn't wait to do this one again, confirm some info for the hike submission and take advantage of a rare opportunity. With Canyon Lake being drained for dam repairs you can traverse First Water Creek all the way to Canyon Lake. I had my ride pick me up at the first steel one way bridge. Continue hiking under the bridge about one hundred feet north of it for a relatively easy hike up the embankment on either side of the bridge. The GPS route submitted displays both hikes-all the way to Canyon Lake and the exit out to milepost 208.
