| no partners | | | This is a portion of Arizona Trail #19, from upper reaches of Cottonwood creek to Reavis gap. This hike is round trip and the elevation gain is about equal hiking in either direction. There was very little water along this trail except in cattle tanks. This is a grueling hike and took all day. The scenery and views I thought were spectacular and made it a worthwhile adventure. If I wasn't trying to finish up this portion of the Arizona trail I would break this hike up into smaller bites. As it is I wasn't able to finish the last mile or so of Upper Cottonwood Creek and will have to finish that on a separate hike. |
