This is a pleasant stroll that basically parallels the road and along Cave Creek. Two miles round trip, with minimal elevation change. Parts of the route have been blasted by flooding in recent years, but have been reworked to make it fun and easy to follow. Nice and shaded as well, with the added bonus of skirting by some of the cliff faces the area is known for. This trail used to go all the way to the Ranger Station, but ends about .2 mile from there where the Silver Peak Trail begins. |
